American Idol Season 8 Winner

First up, let me just say that nothing beats the David Cook & David Archuleta finale :)

Season 8 clearly had more talent. A lot of them like Allison Iraheta & Danny Gokey could do very well and i would buy their albums in a heartbeat. MattG could too although his downside would be the comparison he would endlessly receive on his similarity with JT.

i thought that the final four was the best, ever.

Kris Allen Wins Season 8

i was an AdamLambertDannyGokey fan right from the auditions but i have to admit that Kris Allen grew on me as the weeks went by & I'm not just saying that because he won.

i wanted SO BADLY to hear 'Adam Lambert' but oh well :)

like David Cook had said, America can't go wrong.


it's just that with all the hype about Adam Lambert & his stunning performances day in, day out, you would think that he'd win by a mile. and of course, i really hoped he would. but then again, he IS the most outstanding although the dark horse/ the underdog got it in the end.


I too, wouldn't say America got it wrong.



you should all watch the Results Show today because it was SO worth waking up at 8 in the morning.
Performances by David Cook (<33 :D ), Jason Mraz (!!), Keith Urban, Fergie & the Black-Eyed-Peas, Cindy Lauper, Kiss, Santana, Rod Stewart, Lionel Richie ( i think i'm missing out one or two)


David Cook's 'Permanent' certainly made me forget that i only had 5hours of sleep.

'We are the Champions' by Adam Lambert & Kris Allen was one of my favourites too.

i can't wait for their albums. all four of them actually :)



this post makes me sound most fickle.
my story is : i WANTED Adam Lambert to win but hearing Kris' name didn't exactly crush me either. like i said, Season 8's final four, i love :)


oh and i highly doubt i'm the only one who's gonna notice Simon's reaction to the results as he SAT DOWN while the rest of the judges got to their feet to applaud Kris Allen.
